Christmas Concert Update

The Christmas Concert is still scheduled for Thursday, December 4, 2008 and will begin at 6:30 CST.  Students are to arrive at 6:00 ready to warm up.  

CONCERT DETAILS

DRESS

Males - dress pants, dress shirt, tie, socks, belt, and dress shoes (black band shoes are acceptable)

Females - dress or nice pants suit, appropriate shoes.

Christmas colors are preferred.

SEATING

All seating will be on the home side of the gymnasium.  All band students (5-12) will be on the floor in their assigned seats for the duration of the concert.  The concert will be around an hour long for all groups.  Please do not take your student before the concert is over.  Enjoy the progression of students from fifth through the high school.

Christmas Parade Schedule

The Beulah High School band will be marching in the Opelika Christmas Parade on December 3, 2008.  Our line up spot is lucky number 13 out of over 70 parade entries.  Come out and support  your Pride of Beulah Land!

SCHEDULE

2:15 Depart BHS for Opelika.  All band students should be in full uniform when we leave.  We are wearing our marching uniforms with student provided santa hats.

2:45 Arrive at our staging area (around Chuck's BBQ)

3:30 Warm Up and proceed to the street to line up.

3:55   Final Parade check

4:00 Parade begins.

5:00 Load the buses to return home.

5:30  Pick up students at the bandroom.

Reminders

- You may pick your student up at the parade if an away form is completed before we depart BHS.

- All uniforms must be in the bandroom by Thursday morning to send them to be cleaned.

- The band students voted to wear santa hats instead of the normal shakos and plumes.  These are to be purchased by each marcher at area retailers.
